michaeldr Posted 26 November , 2021 Share Posted 26 November , 2021 In recent years the Gallipoli Association has made great strides to widen its educational programme, including not only lectures, but also the sponsoring of school parties visiting the peninsula, providing expert guidance for such groups both before and during their stay on the battlefields. See https://gallipoli100education.org.uk/schoolprojects/ Sadly, because of the Covid-19 epidemic, the last two years have seen this excellent programme radically curtailed. The Gallipoli Association is not resting upon its laurels however, and until it is possible to resume school visits to the peninsula, they are extending their educational work into the field of post-graduate studies. The Gallipoli Association is offering financial bursaries for history post-graduate students who intend focusing on the Gallipoli campaign for their dissertation or thesis in 2022.
