Tyke2 Posted 19 November , 2021 Share Posted 19 November , 2021 Given the size of the factory at Gretna was it defended by the Army? If so was it a Territorial Unit or Regular Unit, conscripted or otherwise. I know that the siting of the factory provided a high degree of protection from air raid and bombardment from the sea, but it would have required protection from criminal action and sabotage, how was this achieved? Similarly, to prevent sabotage were any military intelligence personnel embedded there? Many thanks in advance for any info. Dave.

jonbem Posted 19 November , 2021 Share Posted 19 November , 2021 I visited when they were at the old museum. They moved it to new premises a few years back. The old museum was very good so I presume the new one will be as good if not better.
