Terry Denham Posted 9 November , 2021 Share Posted 9 November , 2021 CWGC added the following casualties to the WW1 War Dead Roll today.COADY, Michael Private 84370 Royal Defence Corps Died 06.08.21 Commemorated: United Kingdom Book of Remembrance * NEILL, James Hood Private 51068 3 Bn, Northumberland Fusiliers Died 16.06.17 Age 36 Commemorated: United Kingdom Book of Remembrance WHITEHEAD, Edward Private 3952 3 Bn, Manchester Regiment Died 02.03.17 Age 23 Commemorated: United Kingdom Book of Remembrance *NOT FORGOTTENThe above were In From the Cold Project cases.- Pte Coady died post-discharge due to gas poisoning in action (Volunteer: Tom Burnell)- Pte Neill committed suicide by cutting his throat (Volunteer: Paul Charlesworth)- Pte Whitehead died post-discharge of pulmonary tuberculosis (Volunteer: Tim Bell)An asterisk indicates that the grave site is known and is awaiting verification by CWGC.
