nilis11 Posted 13 March , 2005 Share Posted 13 March , 2005 Hi Can any one help trying to find more details on Captain Arthur Walker MC, he was captain in the 21st Bn West Yorkshire regiment and won the MC at the Somme. I know is he survived the war was demobilized in 1921 as Lt. Colonel. He died in 1962. The battalion he served in was called the Wool Textile Pioneers and were attached to the 4th Division. There is also a Medal Card on the National Archives site for Arthur Walker, West Yorkshire Regiment listing him as Captain, Major and Lt. Colonel.
