David T Posted 13 March , 2005 Share Posted 13 March , 2005 I'm researching Joseph Henry Duncan (Service No. 2445) on behalf of a family friend who knows virtually nothing about her Uncle's war record, so I'm looking to provide a brief history of what it was doing at the end of September / beginning of October 1915, specifically anything of significance on 6 October. I've already got basic information from the CWGC website, 'Soldiers Died' & James (British Regiments ...), so if anyone has a copy of the battalion's war diary for the date in question, I'd appreciate whatever information might aid my quest.
