Have had a quick gander at your site and it is very good, interesting story of Patrick Emerson. Because of the Irish troubles it is often forgotten how many Irish men served in the war.

This is true, it explodes the myth about Irish Nationalism in the early 20th Century.

My uncle used to work with my two great uncles who fought in World War One and he said they would regularly get into fights with Irish Nationalists who would berate them for serving with the British Army.
