Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 25 September , 2021 Share Posted 25 September , 2021 (edited) I'll start off with " Cyst Incisor". (It isn't, but it might prompt some more ideas!) Edited 25 September , 2021 by Dai Bach y Sowldiwr
seaJane Posted 25 September , 2021 Share Posted 25 September , 2021 Lost incisors? The two top central ones seem most susceptible to being bashed out in sporting accidents etc.

jay dubaya Posted 25 September , 2021 Author Share Posted 25 September , 2021 Many thanks for the replies folks, I have to admit I'd not thought of incisors... I couldn't get past the last word being cavity. The original can be found here page 22. Can we safely say this man didn't have dentures when his teeth were checked on enlisment? seaJane Posted 25 September , 2021 Share Posted 25 September , 2021 I've cropped and enlarged the words and it now looks to me as if it may read "treat in ..... " - but I'm still not at all certain.
Dai Bach y Sowldiwr Posted 25 September , 2021 Share Posted 25 September , 2021 Hmm. The original isn't any better is it. Surprising for an antipodean record. just found a better image on page
PhilB Posted 26 September , 2021 Share Posted 26 September , 2021 Treat in camp?
jay dubaya Posted 26 September , 2021 Author Share Posted 26 September , 2021 Thanks for the continued input folks, I can certainly see the word ‘treat’. I need to go back to his records and see if anything further is noted regarding his teeth.
