Have just come across this as I am looking into a local soldier & his potential burial location (he is commemorated on Thiepval).

Was there any update on this? What a fascinating read.

Thanks for the interest Gavin, the case is currently with the NZDF and is awaiting a response from them, fingers crossed it won't take several years before its accepted by the CWGC for amendment.
