New memorial unveiled in Mitcheldean, Glos

A rather impressive and imposing stone meorial was unveiled today in the grounds of Mitcheldean Church. It was carved from local stone and more details can be seen here

That's rather nice - unusually so for a modern memorial, I'd say.

I like the fact that the soldier is badged to the Gloucestershire regiment. A rather lovely memorial
