Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help with a few bits on this  - especially the entry for the 12th and 19th December.

I can see:

26.6.16 from 46 NMD BD ( 46th north midland division base depot ?) to 1/1 NMFA  North Midland Field Ambulance  - int he field.

18.11.16 admitted 1/1 NMFA influenza

19.11.16 transferred no 2 Stationary Hosp Abbeville  written above  1 South African Gen (also at Abbeville) ?

12.12 16 ............ ???? ............... Cayeux .. no idea ?

19.12.16 joined 1 ... ? B Depot from Cayeux  ?

The rest I can make out

Many thanks for the time and assistance - very much appreciated.

I think the other entry for 12/12/1916 might be 5 Convalescent Depot (ex No 1 South African General Hospital)

5 Con Dep was at Cayeux, so pretty certain of that now.

Regards

Russ

Brde Hpl - Brigade Hospital ? 13.11.17

I am trying to locate No 5 Convalescent Depot at Cayeux as a relative of mine was treated there following a gun shot wound to the head. Does anyone know of the exact location? Thanks. Chris.
