I require information as to what Uniform Embellishments e.g Army, Corps, Division, Brigade and Battalion cloth or metal uniform embellishments a soldier of the 9th Battalion, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry Regiment would have worn on or about 9th April 1917 in the Battle of the Scarpe :D

and as for above, for a solder of the 10th Battalion West Yorkshire ( Prince of Wale's Own) Regiment on or about 1st July 1916 in the Battle of the Somme, Fricourt area of the line

Many thanks

9/KOYLI flash was a yellow circle, worn on the upper sleeves, and just below the collar at the rear of the tunic. It was also sometimes painted on helmets.

Can't help with the 10/West Yorks - expect to say that I am not sure they wore one on 1st July 1916. I believe their divisional scheme of flashes didn't come in until later.
