Help to identify the regiment

Hi, I need help with identifying the regiment of this man. From the cap badge, could it be the Lancashire Fusiliers?

That is an LF cap badge.

From what I can tell, Regulars, Service Battalions and Territorials all used the same badge.

From his belt, I'd say he was in a service battalion but others will have more forensic knowledge than myself.

I concur with Alan24, the LF badge is clear and the 1914 leather equipment and rifle sling make a war-raised ‘service battalion’ from Kitchener’s New Armies likely.  It’s also possible to make out the shoulder titles.

Having just been working through two great uncles who both spent time in the Lancashire Fusiliers then yes, its definitely that Regiment.
