Back in March I posted on the Forum about the forthcoming release for on-line viewing of the theatrical production of The Wood produced by Peter Doran at The Torch Theatre in Milford Haven, written by Owen Thomas, based on an idea by Huw Davies.

It's a story of two recriuts from different parts of Wales into the 38th Division. They become firm friends. One is killed at Mametz, the other survives. 50 years later the survivor returns to The Wood to keep his promise and to lay a ghost to rest.

It played at The Torch Theatre in Milford and toured around Wales to great acclaim.

It's on a 'pay-as-much-as-you-can' basis.

The video is being released on line tomorrow on this link:

https://torchtheatre.co.uk/the-wood-streaming-online/

I hope you'll enjoy it and help  the only producing theatre in West Wales to bounce back after being closed for almost 2 years because of Covid.

Thank you.

Back home after a trip to see family, and I found this, Huw.  I'll be as delighted to see it on screen, as I did "in the flesh" back in 2018.

Hwyl,

Clive
