I am researching a chap in B Company  5th Batt S.W.B,they have spent a really long time digging,rivetting and sandbagging OAF Avenue,where is it,I think its in the polygon wood area-ish

Blimey,,I have just written another post re books,saw your post,

Because of my silly eyes I cannot see where it is,near Polygon Wood ?

Biffo who needs a seeing eyed dig(at the moment)

Ah now I see,thank you for your help,I tell you it must have been some CT trench they were there late 1917 digging,rivetting,u framing,raising the parados sand bagging for over 3 surprised fritz never attacked,like most of the pioneers no wonder lots came back ruptured
