Who is the eldest documented soldier/sailor to serve in WWI on either side (Entente or Central Powers)?

You'll have to define "soldier"... All generals were quite old and serving... What about medics serving in military and other hospitals?

Anyway, I think there were quite a few old front line infantrymen serving in the Serbian army or the Austrian Tiroler Jäger etc I would imagine.

It's a question without clear answer.
