seaJane Posted 11 March , 2021 Share Posted 11 March , 2021 From the Library of the Society of Friends: "The Wellcome Collection is a treasury of information on medical and science topics. They have digitised the records of The Retreat mental health facility in York, founded by the Quaker Tuke family, which include photographs, administrative records and 19th century patient notes. Among several other digital projects they have made available records of the Royal Army Medical Corps, with whom many conscientious objectors served, and the records of a number of other mental health facilities." Pat Atkins Posted 12 March , 2021 Share Posted 12 March , 2021 Thanks for sharing this sJ - it's a great resource all round, in fact. I've just watched a video of an English folding almanac written in Latin being opened and displayed, weirdly engaging. Cheers, Pat.
