Hi, Can anyone help me with my Gt Grandfather Henry Theodore O'Neill  The 2nd Field Ambulance stated in their war diary that he arrived for duty with them from 1st Division HQ on 19/3/1919.  On 5/4/1919 he proceeded to 1/6th Welsh Regiment for duty.  Presumably he was then posted on again as the A.D.M.S., 1st Division wrote on 12/8/1919 “Lt H T O’Neill MO I/c 1/4th Bn. Cheshire Regiment proceeded to UK on completion of contract. Can anyone help me identify where he was prior to 19/3/1919. We believe that he went to France 11/9/18. Many thanks, Ed

I saw the other post on O'Neill. If you haven't already you can get the 2nd FA and 1st Division ADMS diaries for free, just sign up.

2 FA. Pick your dates from this list.

Ditto for 1st ADMS.

I think Barbara said she looked through but you may want to go through them.

Thank you TEW, i was trawling the archives last night but couldn't pin down either of those documents. Barbara did have a look but i'm still hugely fascinated to take a look myself and add to my collection of family ww1 archives.

Thanks again for your help and for your time.

Cheers,

Ed
