TEW Posted 12 February , 2021 Share Posted 12 February , 2021 Not a look up request I hope. Mason 29847 has a service record sheet or sheets on FMP. It must be one of the 'floating' reused scraps that found its way to another man's record. Can someone look and just tell me whose file the sheet is in via the transcription I think. Name & number rather than link. Then I should be able to view on library ancestry. Thanks TEW

Keith_history_buff Posted 12 February , 2021 Share Posted 12 February , 2021 Link to C Mason found via British Army Ancestorshttp://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2114&awinaffid=94297&clickref=&p=http://search.findmypast.co.uk/record?id=GBM/WO363-4/SUPP/282294 As you quite rightly picked up, the SUPP element in the FMP address suggests he appears on a scrap within another man's service record. TEW Posted 12 February , 2021 Author Share Posted 12 February , 2021 Thanks to both. Yes, and a good scrap of paper it is! Nine men admitted to a local hospital including the man I hoped for with some details. Not seen British Army Ancestors before but alas with no active FMP subscription at present it'll have to wait.
