AOK4 Posted 2 February , 2021 Share Posted 2 February , 2021 (edited) Hello, Several bronze statues have been stolen from cemeteries in Dresden, several from graves or memorials of soldiers of WWI. The last "stunt" involved taking the 100kg bronze statue which was on the urn grave of Max Immelmann, "the Eagle of Lille". Luckily, tthe thieves were caught red-handed. Let's hope the thefts stop now. Apparently, the police thinks the thieves were specifically after bronze statues with a military connection (to add these to a private collection?). https://www.saechsische.de/dresden/lokales/dresden-friedhof-diebstahl-immelmann-5369977-plus.html?fbclid=IwAR17RTS2G2Eglpc9TGrLlOcB5Krx2d5UMxy6mx7FARmDP_w6mS965p0Wxq0 Jan Edited 2 February , 2021 by AOK4
