Remembered Today:

Lyon Street Trench

Recommended Posts

I have a posting in cemeteries and memorials on Lyon Street (Glasgow) but would appreciate is anyone has any info on where a trench called Lyon Street was on the Western Front.

I am told it was somewhere on the Somme. Many of the men from this street in Glasgow served in the HLI, and that is all I have to go on at the moment concerning the trench.

Further info on my posting in cemeteries and memorials.

thanks

Sunflower

Nothing on the Somme that I can find either under Lyon or Lion or any variant of these two.
