Ddraigmor Posted 1 March , 2005 Share Posted 1 March , 2005 Hi, I think my granfather's service number was wrong - thanks to all who pointed it out on here - but am trying a different tack to get his WW1 records! I have given up searching the NA as it is confusing when my info is scant! He served in the Second World War with Intelligence, so I am now working on the principle that his WW2 records will show any decorations and previous service - am I right to assume this? Has anyone else gone about a search this way and, if so, what was the success rate, if any? Can you let me know if you had any successes? many thanks!
