Helles 'Water Towers' - how many?

An early feature of the Helles landscape was a line of masonry 'water towers' which soon disappeared under the onslaught of artillery barrages from both sides. It is thought that these 'towers' were the remains of an ancient aqueduct.

 

But how many were there?

The British map, which was based one captured from the Turks, shows four towers

However, the French photograph appears to show five, at least

 

Was there a fifth tower?

I see five on the map albeit one is obscured. The image does indeed show five but the spacing may suggest six.

Nigel Steel mentions five towers in his book Gallipoli (Battleground Europe).

 

 

The fifth appears to be located halfway between Kanlidere/Achi Baba Nullah and Zimmerman Farm on the map below.
