Looking for information regarding my great uncle Joseph Nott 7016 Northumberland Fusiliers.

Wounded Around July 1916.

Put onto AT 26.

Trying to track the train movements.

Once you find out it's destination (probably a base) you can get hold of the base diary.

Your man was admitted to 34 CCS on 27/07/1916 and on to 26 Ambulance Train on the same day. 34 CCS was at Vecquemont according to the cover of the book MH 106/698. I had a look at others who were moved on to 26 AT on the same day. Two have SWBs and were discharged with wounds in 1917 and 1935 Thomas Ashby RFA (of Preston) has a service record which shows that he served with the BEF up to 31/07/1916 and in August was admitted to 1 Scottish GH Aberdeen.
