His name was Private William Henry Whadcock, at the end of the war he was in 14th battalion of the Leicester regiment demob number 497656 his best friend was William Adlam who migrated to Winnipeg Canada in 1923. My mother (His daughter) has just told me that her uncle Augustus (gus)fought in the war as well and she thinks the othe 2 Whadcocks may have been relations as well.
