Sgt Stripes Posted 28 December , 2020 Author Share Posted 28 December , 2020 Hi. I am researching 23656 Pte John Parle who was KIA 4th November with the 1st Battalion. The small information i have is that he only enlisted in April 1918 and was killed by a shell however i do not know where the Battalion was serving when he was killed . Was he killed at the end of the Battle of Valenciennes. or was it during the Battle of the Sambre.
