Remembered Today:

The Redouts at St Quentin

I am interested in the redoubts on the perimeter of St Quentin March 1918, particularly Boadicea, Racecourse, Jeanne d'Arc, Station and Quarry. I am fairly certain that I know the exact position of Quarry Redoubt close to Contiscourt (well there is a quarry at the side of the road and I am presuming that is where it was!)

Is there an equivalent to the Trench Map showing the position of these Redoubts?

Thanks in anticipation Geoff

I have seen them marked on some maps; I am pretty sure there is a map of some of them around St Quentin in Gough's Fifth Army book. I don't have my copy to hand to check.

I have the Battleground Europe "St Quentin" and the redoubts are marked on a map in the book. I wondered if there were more detailed maps available that pinpointed their position fairly accurately

Regards Geoff

The map in Gough's book is pretty detailed - but as I say, I am away from it. I am sure I have seen that there are some members here who have it - perhaps they will do a scan?
