Guest diva Posted 27 February , 2005 Share Posted 27 February , 2005 Is there anyone out there who can help me find information about my long-lost Great Uncle Thomas J. Murray, St. Monance, Scotland, who (I believe, based on info from kind people on this board and researching the pictures posted here) was a Gordon Highlander. That's really all the information I have about him, except that he was born in about 1893, perhaps in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburg, or St.Monance (the family seemed to move around a bit). He was still alive in 1923, as he was listed in his father's obituary as attending his funeral. Can't find his birth cert, death notice, or anything else! Thanks in advance for any help. angelasmith66 Posted 3 March , 2005 Share Posted 3 March , 2005 Hi I find the following website very useful for tracking relatives: www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk You can access birth, death and marriage certificates and also the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census info.
