I haven't got access to the Brigade diaries but a few years ago I accessed 2nd Brigade diaries at Kew. However I recently downloaded 1 (A) Battalion diary and the front cover states 4th Brigade. johntaylor Posted 29 November , 2020 Share Posted 29 November , 2020 (edited) Hi, As far as I can see A Bn (later 1st Tank Bn) was in 4th Tank Brigade from the time the brigade was formed until the end of the war. By the way, all the War Diaries are available on the the National Archives website. There's normally a small charge, but during the pandemic they can be downloaded for free.
