Guest Posted 21 October , 2020 Share Posted 21 October , 2020 I have a photo postcard showing the funeral/burial of a WILLIAM MALCOLM (of Wick, Scotland) able seaman R.N.R. serving "Collingwood" Battalion C/7. William was killed accidentally whilst being a prisoner at Doberitz on 3rd August 1915. He was accidentally run over by a transport wagon coming down an incline whilst carting gravel at 12.15 pm. The postcard shows several naval ratings and 1 armed soldier around the grave, the ceremony was held by Rev Williams shown in the photo. Although I share the same surname of MALCOLM this is not my family and I am looking for the best home it can go to, I welcome any suggestions. Thank you. Marion.
