PaulC78 Posted 25 September , 2020 Share Posted 25 September , 2020 Memorial plaque at Liverpool Queens Dock commemorating Charles Wotten, a Bermudan-born sailor who was killed during the race riots of 1919. Charles has a Royal Navy record covering 1908-1912 and was later a fireman in the Merchant Navy. He is buried in an unmarked public grave at Anfield Cemetery. The plaque was unveiled in 2016.
