Er Cof/In Memory of the Penmaenmawr Quarry Boys of the 6th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers who landed at "C" Beach, Suvla Bay, Gallipoli alongside their comrades of the 53rd [Welsh] Division on the 9th August, 1915 and went into battle in the early hours of the 10th Led by Major "Gus" Wheeler, the Quarry Manager.

Many lie a long way from their beautiful, mountain home but you are not forgotten or any of our Boys who did not return from the battlefields of France, Flanders and beyond.
