HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 21 February , 2005 Share Posted 21 February , 2005 Unless a New Years Honours or Birthday Honours promulgation, where Citations are Rarely Published, there is a good chance that his MC Citation was published, with a name like Wilson, though, you may have a search ahead of you, unless you have a Gazete Date,as unless you know his full Name{& the way it was published in the LG} it probably means searching by Surname! 303man Posted 22 February , 2005 Author Share Posted 22 February , 2005 Thanks for that, will this mean he did not get a citation. I will give the RE Museum a ring.

Terry_Reeves Posted 22 February , 2005 Share Posted 22 February , 2005 King George V birthday was on the 3rd of June, so this was almost certainly a Birthday Honours award and therefore there will be no citation. Terry Reeves
