Crucifix of the trenches, Neuve Chapelle

I'm reading "13 years after" by Will R Bird at the moment. He mentions the Crucifix of the Trenches at Neuve Chapelle. In "I Was There" I have found a picture of the damaged figure of Christ at the base of the replacement village Crucifix. Does anyone know if the damaged figure is still there, or has it been moved somewhere for safe keeping?

I believe one of the figures of Christ went to Portugal in the ?50s or 60s to form a memorial to the Portguese Expeditionary Force who fell in the area in 1918. This big cross is still there, and there is a figure of Christ from the original village in the church, see below:
