Thatww1pigeon Posted 12 July , 2020 Share Posted 12 July , 2020 Hi everyone. Here I’ve got a Veterans if Foreign Wars medal, very familiar. My question is, is there a way of knowing if this medal was made during ww1 era. Let alone any other medal? Besides having a date of course, this does not. Thanks. RNCVR Posted 13 July , 2020 Share Posted 13 July , 2020 I am no expert on US decorations & medals but I think this is a 1WW period or post 1WW period medal. Thanks, Bryan

RNCVR Posted 13 July , 2020 Share Posted 13 July , 2020 I always thought the VFW medal was earlier, for the USA vets from 1WW. I wonder, did they have a separate commemorative medal? B
