seivy Posted 20 June , 2020 Share Posted 20 June , 2020 Hi Terry aware the CWGC are very busy and will have been held up by Covid19,but once a case has been reported and all information sent in,is there a rough time scale when name might be added to the Roll if accepted. Seems to be around two years or longer at the moment. I know I'm still waiting on a couple that were submitted in September 2018. Might be less for RAF and Navy cases. (EDIT: Those two cases were accepted a few weeks after I posted this comment, so about 19 months.) Edited 14 August , 2020 by PaulC78

Terry Denham Posted 21 June , 2020 Author Share Posted 21 June , 2020 (edited) The time is roughly two years. Our cases above were submitted April/May 2018. This has been the normal time scale though efforts are being made to speed up this process. That is for UK Army cases. RN, RAF, MN, Dominion cases can be much quicker (but not guaranteed). Submissions are processed in order of receipt and we have over 1100 cases in the system for them to work through. There will be others as well. One of the SA cases above was submitted in March 2008 so two years is not so bad after all! SA cases are a different story.
