Hi, Are the records war forces hold on Red Cross volunteers any good ie do they contain address of personnel? Dont want to waste money if they are no good. The Red Cross website seems incomplete.

Do you mean Forces War Records?

 

Their website says;

 

Records in this collection are likely to include the following:

• Name
• rank
• first name
• Number
• passport number
• department and destination are listed.

 

Please be aware that due to the way we collate, and cross reference our databases, some records will contain more information than that listed above.

 

No suggestion of addresses here, I'm not sure what records these are. Presumably not the same as the VAD cards with BRC.
