Glamorgan Fortress Royal Engineers: Garrison Duty

Does anyone know where some men of the Glamorgan Fortress Engineers (TF) served on garrison duty overseas? Or indeed anywhere else which led to the award of a British War Medal but not a Victory Medal.

 

My interest is in Spr. Mitchell Alexander Crawford, 1508 and 454664.

1/5th Glamorgan Works Company, sent to Gibraltar in November 1916 and remained there until the end of the war; became 558th (Glamorgan) Works Company

Or less likely with just the BWM, could have been in transit to one of the theatres of war on 11th Nov 1918.
