Remembered Today:

British trench mapping - contour intervals

Recommended Posts

British trench maps in France and Flanders were drawn by Royal Engineer units, presumably based on original French maps.

How was the contour interval measured , in metres or in feet?

Thanks in advance.

All maps at home say contour intervals in 5 metres or all heights in metres.
