Remembered Today:

Seaforth Highlander /seaforth barracks

I have a picture of a young man who has a cap badge of the Seaforth Highlanders .

His grand daughter has tracked the only Walter Hunter that she can find who was in the Seaforth Highlanders

This one is not the right one

it seems likely that the right one might have enlisted at the Seaforth Barracks in Liverpool .

However the regiments that there were recruited there do not seem to include the Seaforth Highlanders , but several Lancashire Regiments and the Kings Liverpool

why would the young man who is the grandfather wear a Seaforth Highlanders cap badge , if he was from near Liverpool ?
