Remembered Today:

Dough boy helmet

Spree Farm

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have two Dough Boy helmets that I can not identify the origin. They came out of my late uncles loft along with a 1939 gas mask in its box.

Both have are identical, 16 holes drilled around them for holding the line in place. I don't think by the bootlace that is currently there.

Identified by the letter M on the rim.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately it is neither American nor WW1 - this is a WW2 British "Zuckerman" helmet,  so the thread will likely end up closed as off-topic:
