Graeme Fisher Posted 10 February , 2005 Share Posted 10 February , 2005 I'm quite prepared to be shot down in flames here, but I suspect the info at the bottom of the photograph is wrong. The Monmouthshire Regiment was formed in the 1908 Territorial reforms from units of the South Wales Borderers' Volunteer units. Under the Volunteer system, there were sufficient Battalions to reach M, but the Terriers usually managed only 8 (stopping at H Co.) Unless, of course, this is post-war?
