Frog Simplified Territorial Equipment?

Recommended Posts

Possibly a bayonet frog for the simplified Territorial Equipment (Karkee web description). Dated 1914 marked to 4th Northamptons (TF unit) no broad arrow. Thought welcome.

Regards

Mark

Smashing find Mark,

Doesn’t look as though a strap was ever fitted to me from the photos so a strong contender.
I have a volunteer 08 frog without strap but those were narrower.

Thanks for posting.

Dave.

Also may be naval. Mills did some pre-war naval that was not to strict WE08 pattern. I have a 1913 dated mess tin cover by MECo in web. Probably made for the RAN capital ships delivered at that time.

Cheers
