Capt Sidney Arthur Pruden MC and Bar what bar for

Hello I’ve just bought this at an auction I just wondered if any one knew what the bar was for I believe he was. 1/4 loyal north lancashires  any advice would be great thanks

 if you look in the London gazette you might find a citation, not all MCs have them.

Is he really called Cape or do you mean Captain ???

Hello 

the first award was at Ypres 1/12/1917  it mentions Sulva the capitol and cross cots if any one can tell me where that is thanks

I hope that was the bar citation as I am also using a smaller screen and couldn't scroll backwards to check the gazette page to confirm

The M.C. was for his actions East of Ypres, September 1917, the actual day is unclear.
