I am not sure of the date but I have him serving as a postmen married to Elizabeth with his address as POST OFFICE, PITTMEDDEN, UDNEY, ABERDEEN. First an RND Card for service at Crystal Palace:- https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D7266875 He was then drfated to sea service with a record here:- https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D7675623 He claimed Victory and British War Medals from the Admiralty.
