Remembered Today:

HMS Caroline visit

During my visit to Belfast I decided to visit HMS Caroline.

This was very enjoyable and I have attached a couple of pictures, the highlight for me was sitting in the café which is the forward messdeck.

The food was superb and the setting gave me a good insight into life on such a ship at that time.

An excellent visit that I fully recommend if you get the chance.

Looks really good - I'd love to make a visit there and see over the ship.

But what's with all the Jolly Roger flags?

Probably part of a "Pirate Family Fun Day", an NMRN speciality to 'engage with yoof'.

There were a lot of children visiting that day.

Emulating Radio Caroline the pirate radio ship, perhaps
