Edward Evans of Penrhynside

In memory of Driver Edward EVANS, late of Penrhynside, North Wales, who gave his life for King and country during the aftermath of Passchendaele, remembered with love and hope in his peaceful rest.

Listed on the Penrhynside War Memorial:

EVANS, Edward: Driver 160396, "B" Battery, 298th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Killed in action 30 November 1917

 

We will never forget you, Uncle Ted!

Thank you for the poppy, seaJane,  Here is another that is one of many posted on the former homes of 'The Fallen' in and around the Llandudno area by 'Poppies on Gates'. Every November, as close to the 11th as possible, they also show the 'Faces of the Fallen' on a wall in the centre of town. He will never be forgotten....
