Skipman Posted 22 November , 2019 Share Posted 22 November , 2019 The attached appears in a newspaper 10/2/1915, it mentions a British cameraman known as "Erkoll" filming the moment Russian and Germany cavalry clash., possibly near Przemyśl. I have found a couple of clips that could be related to this incident but neither show the actual clash. Is this just just a newspaper story or did he actually film something like this. It also appears he was wounded in another incident. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDduXoaCq-s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz3W0muth5A Mike
9.5mm Posted 3 January , 2020 Share Posted 3 January , 2020 If this combat footage exists, it's likely to be held here: https://www.net-film.ru/en/ I've not come across it, however, only the staged sequences. It was shot by George Ercole. More info here: https://shootingthegreatwar.blogspot.com/2015/07/george-ercole-pathe-news-war.html
