Allan1892 Posted 14 November , 2019 Share Posted 14 November , 2019 I am trying to find out what medals would have been awarded to a British born man who served in the 1st Battalion South African Infantry. He emigrated to South Africa in 1902, enlisting in 1915. Fought at Delville Wood, evacuated to Military Orthopaedic Hospital, Shepherds Bush where he died on 3rd October 1916.
