rksimpson Posted 7 November , 2019 Share Posted 7 November , 2019 Hi It depends what you want from it. Better to search for free, find what you need then wait for a free day and go beserk. Or pay for 1 month and go beserk. Cancel before it renews. I cant see it would be worth doing a year subscription . regards Robert
sadbrewer Posted 7 November , 2019 Share Posted 7 November , 2019 I pay Ancestry £13.99 per month religiously (if you pardon the pun)...I completely object to paying a further subscription to their subsidiary site for information that should be on Ancestry....no matter how impressive Fold 3's Vietnam war records are. arantxa Posted 7 November , 2019 Author Share Posted 7 November , 2019 I have an account with Ancestry to look things up for £79 a year extra you can pay to add fold 3. Says you get better results I agree with you all but wondered what extra you get
travers61 Posted 7 November , 2019 Share Posted 7 November , 2019 I belong to both ancestry & fold 3. For WW1 the extras are limited, and have mainly used for Pension & dependents cards that you can also get from WFA. But it's been good for my WW2 pow research. Pighills Posted 7 November , 2019 Share Posted 7 November , 2019 Nah, wait for a free weekend which, I’d be surprised if it’s not, should be this coming weekend.
Gardenerbill Posted 7 November , 2019 Share Posted 7 November , 2019 Just tried Ancestry free weekend and it doesn't appear to include Fold3
