Hello

I have a project I'm working on. Its a group picture of a dozen SNCO of the 2nd battalionColdstream Guards taken in 1912. I have medal groups to 3 of them and have got (likely) names for 8 others but one eludes me. All 11 found served in ww1 in one way or another so I have no reason to believe that Robson didnt

Can any one find  C/S Robson ? Ive checked all my rolls and looked on fmp but he is evading me - and the forum usually comes up trumps as we like a challenge. Only clue is that he looks one of the oldest in the group but cant see him on the lsgc medal rolls, assuming he was not caught for anything naughty!!!

Cheers

Ian

Have you excluded Richard Ernest Robson. DoW at Loos 27/9/15. De Ruvigny has a pic so a straight comparison. 2448. Born 1880 but looks old for his age. According to DeR would have been a Company Sgt in 1912. Appears as such in 2nd Battalion in 1911 census. Boer War veteran with QSA and KSA Medals. QSA has 5 clasp inc. Diamond Hill and Belfast

edit

see from another thread he has been considered.
